A Surf Inspired Hotel on the California Coast in Laguna Beach
This hotel is one of the Editor’s favorites because the location and amenities are beach basics and the prices are reasonable. We love the vibe, even though we are not surfers.
When you arrive at this little boutique hotel its charms unfold over time. The lobby if filled with decor that resembles an upscale surf shack. A friendly desk clerk checks you in and before you know it you are heading to your room. You could be on an upstairs balcony or down by the pool, or the lower deck.

The rooms are light and airy with an all-white decor with comfortable beds and divine crisp white sheets. The sense of the casual chic style is everywhere and inspired by surfing and beach life. Furnishings are in simple white pine with luxury towels and did we mention the sheets and ample pillows on the beds?
The beautiful and rugged coastline of California brings people from around the world. You can easily walk to the downtown of Laguna Beach without a car as yours is safely parked in your spot at the hotel. Laguna Beach is where people who live in Southern California go to unwind for a “staycation”.
